Bulk selling questions
How much will I get for selling many copies of a CS2 skin or case?
The calculator multiplies the best one-copy price by your quantity in three ways: instant cash from the highest bid, listing at the lowest price on marketplaces with enough listings, and Steam wallet funds after Steam’s 13% fee. These are the most you could expect, not a guarantee for the whole stack.
Is instant cash or listing better for a large stack?
Listing usually pays more, but you wait for buyers, and sellers tend to undercut each other by a few cents when a lot of volume is listed. Instant cash avoids the wait and pays less. The gap between the two is the cost of selling now instead of waiting.
How long does it take to sell my copies on Steam?
The Steam tab compares your quantity with the copies Steam sold in the last 24 hours, for example “about two days of its sales”. Steam pays in wallet funds, which cannot be withdrawn as cash.
Why is a marketplace marked as thin?
A marketplace with fewer than 10 listings is thin. A price built on two listings is not one you can count on, so it is left out of the listing figure and flagged instead. The “would add” column shows your quantity as a share of the listings already there.
Can the calculator tell how many copies each marketplace buys at a price?
No. No marketplace publishes how many copies it buys at each price, so the price of the 10th copy is unknown. Treat the one-copy bid as the price of the first copy, expect less for the rest, and split a large stack across marketplaces.
